Dr. Vincent Wang-Maścianica
Cosmos Senior Research Fellow, Human-Centred AI Lab, University of Oxford
Dr. Vincent Wang-Maścianica is a Cosmos Senior Research Fellow at the Human-Centred AI Lab at the University of Oxford. His research studies the structures through which humans and computational systems reason, interact, and act together. His work draws on computer science, mathematics, and philosophy, spanning compositional and mathematical models of computation, human–computer interaction, language, and intelligent systems. A recurring theme of his research is that intelligence and agency are properties not only of individual models, but of the wider systems in which they participate: their interfaces, tools, protocols, environments, and relationships with other human and artificial agents. His current work investigates these ideas in AI agents and human–AI systems.
